I am deeply passionate about improving the lives of individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and dementia, as well as their caregivers. My career has been dedicated to enhancing care quality and fostering compassionate support systems.
As the founder of Empathetic Memory Coaching, I provide nationally recognized Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Seminars (ADDC), a required course for professionals pursuing Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) certification. My seminars are known for their relaxed and collaborative atmosphere, encouraging participants to share real-world experiences and practical insights. Through my work, I aim to empower caregivers and professionals to adopt positive, person-centered approaches that promote dignity and respect for those living with memory impairments.
In June 2024, my dedication to the senior community was formally recognized by Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, who presented me with a letter commending my commitment and contributions to improving the lives of seniors. As a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), I strive to ensure that my expertise translates into meaningful support for families and care professionals alike.
My journey in this field is deeply personal, shaped by my own family’s experiences with dementia. This connection fuels my mission to make a meaningful impact, not only as an educator but also as a trusted resource for families navigating the challenges of memory care. In addition to my seminars, I offer one-on-one training sessions and provide senior living assistance, helping families transition their loved ones into the right communities with care and understanding.
Based in Pennsylvania, I host both in-person and virtual seminars to ensure accessibility for a wide range of participants. My dedication to staying at the forefront of dementia care education recently led me to earn certification to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for professionals looking to expand their knowledge and skills.
My work reflects my unwavering belief in the power of empathy, education, and community to improve the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia. Through Empathetic Memory Coaching, I strive to inspire others to approach caregiving with kindness, positivity, and purpose.
